- Also covers your Medicare Part A hospital deductible – due to the fact that this is not an annual deductible, you may end up paying it multiple times a year, if you experience multiple hospital stays

- This plan covers all items that Medicare Supplement Plan A covers
- Covers Medicare Part A and B deductibles
- Covers skilled nursing coinsurance
- Covers foreign travel emergencies
Medicare Supplement Plan D
- This plan covers all items that Medicare Supplement Plan A covers
- Covers skilled nursing coinsurance
- Covers Part A dedutible
- Covers 80% of foreign travel emergency costs within the plan’s limits
- IMPORTANT TO NOTE: This plan is different from Medicare Part D – this supplement plan is NOT a plan that covers prescription drugs.
